Great Western Buys La Costa Realty Firm

Great Western Real Estate--formerly Walker & Lee--has announced the acquisition of Farrow Realty of La Costa, active in San Diego County real estate since 1974 and one of the largest real estate offices in that region.

The acquisition is the first of four that Great Western plans in the San Diego area and is its first step in expanding operation throughout the state, with the San Fernando and Sacramento regions targeted as other expansion areas.

Betsy Carney in the firm’s San Diego district headquarters,said, “The acquisition of Farrow Realty, combined with our existing offices, will enable Great Western to serve the entire San Diego area, especially the coastal communities.”

Great Western’s corporate offices are at 1901 East 4th St., Santa Ana, and it has 28 branch offices throughout Southern California.
