Santa Monica : Topless Club to Be Converted to Office Space

The Ball, one of the state's oldest topless-bottomless dance clubs, is being converted into a retail-office building. Elmer (Whitey) Locker Jr., owner of The Ball, at 2719 Wilshire Blvd., said that he had sold the building to Koss Real Estate Investments. Locker had operated The Ball for 23 years, first as a topless bistro, then as a totally nude dancing club, bar and restaurant.
