Dole, Kemp Bury the Hatchet
Senate Republican leader Bob Dole and Rep. Jack Kemp (R-N.Y.), possible rivals for the 1988 GOP presidential nomination, have agreed to bury the hatchet in a growing and bitter feud, aides said today.
