A Consumer Hot Line for Wine Enthusiasts

Starting Wednesday, consumers will be able to get up-to-date information on the wine harvest in California’s Napa Valley through a 24-hour toll-free hot line.

This service for wine enthusiasts across the country is sponsored by the Napa Valley Vintners and Napa Valley Grape Growers.

Individual Napa Valley wine makers and growers will be identified as they discuss points of wine consumer interest as well as the weather, the condition of the fruit and how the harvest is proceeding.

The two-minute taped message will be updated weekly during the three-month period from Aug. 7 to Nov. 8.
