Law of the Land: Things are a little less confusing now at the Ridgeline Country Club, of which half was in the city of Orange and half in county territory. The city annexed the 33.6 county acres Wednesday at the request of Dave Freimann, owner of the club at 1051 Meads Ave. “It was a problem from this standpoint--if something happens at the pool, I’ve got to call the county. If something happens out on the golf course, I’ve got to call the city,” he said. “This will make things a lot simpler.”
