New Principal Announced: Helen Sullivan Cease is the new principal of Walter Knott Elementary School in Buena Park, the Centralia School District announced. Cease succeeds Sylvia Horne, who has been principal at the school for the past three years and who resigned June 30. Cease has been head of Centralia School District’s special services department since 1983. Her duties in that role included administration of the district’s GATE (Gifted and Talented in Education) program.
