McMullan to Lead Chapter of Institute

Archibald McMullan, an architectural representative in Los Angeles for Sinclair Paint Co., has been installed as president of the Los Angeles chapter, Construction Specifications Institute, succeeding Richard B. Pember, who will continue to serve on the board of directors.

Other new officers are Gerald M. Halweg of the Ceramic Tile Institute, president-elect; Josephine H. Drummond, a consultant, vice president; Hank L. Hinman of Raymond Interior Systems, vice president; Hans W. Meier, a consultant, secretary, and Samuel Drucker of Austin, Field, Fry & Barlow AIA, treasurer.

New directors are Curtis B. Stanley, a consultant, and Griffith J. Williams of Custom Building Products.

Presidential awards were given to members James E. Thomasson, Stephen J. Densmore, Russell W. Hobbs and Charles Denisac Jr. Special chapter awards were a certificate of appreciation to member Heinz Zaiser for distinguished service to the chapter and a cooperation award to California State Polytechnic University, Pomona for exceptional support in pursuit of chapter objectives.
