Actor Rock Hudson is gaining strength in his fight against the deadly disease AIDS, and received his first visitor since checking into UCLA Medical Center, actress and longtime-friend Elizabeth Taylor, a hospital spokesman said. Hudson, who entered the hospital July 30 after returning from Paris, is “gaining strength and is in fair condition,” UCLA said. “Physicians will decide on a daily basis if he is to receive (further) visitors,” the statement added.
