Spotted Fever Victim, 8, Dies in Pennsylvania

PHILADELPHIA —
A girl stricken with Rocky Mountain spotted fever at a summer camp has died, officials at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children said Wednesday.
The 8-year-old from Phoenixville, Pa., died Tuesday, a hospital spokesman said. She had been admitted to the hospital on July 31 in a coma.
