Italian Tanker Sinking After Explosion, Fire

GAETA, Italy —
The Italian tanker Selene Ara was almost entirely submerged Wednesday off the west coast of Italy after an explosion and fire on board the vessel Tuesday, port officials said.
Two of the 13 Italian crewmen are still missing.
Port officials said the 1,559-ton tanker began sinking off the coast north of Naples after a cable connected to a tugboat towing it to shore snapped.
