Kremlin Honors Marcos

MANILA —
Philippine President Ferdinand E. Marcos received a special medal Thursday from the Soviet Union for his role in World War II. Moscow’s ambassador, Yuri Sholmov, pinned the decoration on Marcos, a former guerrilla fighter, at ceremonies marking the 84th anniversary of the Philippine Constabulary.
