EAC Indus Unit Buys Assets of L.A. Firm

EAC Industries Inc. said its Ideal Security Hardware Corp. unit has purchased most of the operating assets of the ornamental gate and fence hardware business of Arrowsmith Industries Inc. of Los Angeles.

Terms weren’t disclosed.

EAC said Arrowsmith will continue to make the gate and fence hardware line for ideal security until the acquired assets are moved from Arrowsmith’s Los Angeles plant to Ideal Security’s St. Paul, Minn., facility by early 1986.
