L.A. Approves Tax Amnesty

The Los Angeles City Council today unanimously approved a three-month amnesty for businesses that owe the city more than $2 million in back taxes. The amnesty, if approved by Mayor Tom Bradley, would waive penalties for businesses that owe back taxes if the taxes are paid between Oct. 1 to Dec. 31.
