Houston McGinness (Letters, Aug. 7) is right. What happened to the noise-abatement program?
In addition to excessively loud radios and stereos, is it not time that noise-abatement laws also apply to the deafening noise of air-blowers, and the high-decibel metallic screech of car horns?
