Wheeler’s letter is the most uplifting and inspiring I have ever read in your pages.

Like him, I have often had trouble distinguishing between your editorial viewpoint and the standard Communist Party line. From Nicaragua to Angola (where Wheeler is actively helping freedom fighters resist Russian imperialism) you have consistently given aid and comfort to the enemy.
