Tom Larmore, 41, has resigned from the Planning Commission, saying that other commitments have forced him to miss meetings.

“I enjoyed being involved with the (development of the) land-use element,” Larmore said. “I just feel I can’t properly serve the city with the demands I have with my job and family.”

Larmore, an attorney with the law firm of Lillick, McHose & Charles, served on the commission for two years. He was also chairman of the All Santa Monica Coalition, which gained a majority on the City Council a year ago.
