Danny Spawns Killer Tornadoes
Tornadoes spawned by Hurricane Danny howled across Alabama’s coal country today, demolishing homes, flipping cars and killing a woman trapped in a mobile home that was hurled over trees.

The tornadoes shattered windows, knocked out power to thousands and blocked roads into Parrish, about 30 miles northwest of Birmingham, Burnette said.
