Soviets Seize NBC, BBC Video Cassettes

MOSCOW —
Soviet police Friday seized two video cassettes, one belonging to the British Broadcasting Corp. and the other to NBC as they were about to be flown to London.
Staffers said the BBC recording was about the Soviet police and NBC’s on Soviet personnel at the U.S. Embassy.
Airline officials said the cassettes were taken from a passenger’s bag during a security check at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport.
The British Airways flight was held up for 25 minutes while airline officials tried to get the cassettes back.
