Record Net Income for PDA Engineering

Citing a surge in sales of its software products, PDA Engineering reported record net income for the fiscal 1985 fourth quarter and said full-year earnings were up more than 62% from the year before.

The Santa Ana firm, which designs, develops and markets software, reported fourth quarter net income of $484,000 for the period ended June 30, compared with $190,000 during the year-earlier period.

Net income for the twelve months was $1.4 million compared with $885,000 for the prior year.

Revenues for the fourth quarter rose 6%, to $3.58 million from $3.36 million a year earlier. Full-year revenue jumped 30% to $14.6 million from $11.2 million the year before.
