Korean Students Jailed

SEOUL, South Korea —
A student was sentenced Monday to a year in prison and 23 others received 10-day terms for demonstrating against South Korean President Chun Doo Hwan, court officials reported. The sentences followed Chun’s order Saturday that the government and police deal sternly with campus protests.
