Center Bond Issue OKd: A $90.4-million bond issue to fund the construction of a new civic center and a city performing arts center has been approved by the City Council. The new civic center will be built in the Westpark area, a new village located north of Culver Drive, and will replace the overcrowded current City Hall and annex on Jamboree Boulevard.
