Media Critics: More Than Bashing Stars?

I just love the way you exonerated yourselves of bias in reporting. How inspiring!

But I still can’t find anyone who ever heard of Geraldine Belmar, the 19-year-old student who organized the rescue of Maurice Bishop in Grenada and was machine-gunned in the head when he was recaptured and assassinated.

I mean here is the perfect heroine in the full flower of stained youth, ringing the bell to summon the patriots, her fellow students, to defend a popularly elected leader. She then dies for her ideals, is canonized by the people of Grenada, and you guys totally ignore her to bring us pictures of Fidel embracing tearfully his routed agents. I’d have to suspect you have an ax to grind.

I also noticed that nobody ever breathed a word about Pol Pot as he murdered one-third of a population of Cambodia until the Vietnamese coveted that piece of real estate.
