City’s AIDS Ordinance
The law to ban discrimination against AIDS carriers is a classic case of how far out of touch with reality the City Council is.
Joel Wachs says a week doesn’t go by that one of his friends doesn’t come down with AIDS. I suggest he get some new friends. How could any elected official vote for a law saying we must ALL be exposed to this deadly disease?
This is not a question of sexual preference or racial discrimination. It is a matter of life or death.
