Bell Gardens
The San Antonio Mental Health Clinic, operated by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, has expanded its services to include individual, group and family therapy for children ages 4 to 13.
The clinic, which also serves residents in Bell, Cudahy, Downey, Huntington Park, Maywood, South Gate and Vernon, has hired a Spanish-speaking child therapist and child psychologist, social worker Dolores Ramos said.
The clinic, which is offering the children’s services from its new offices at 6450 Garfield Ave., requests donations of toys for use in play therapy for children. Appointments for child therapy may be made by calling 806-4921.
