Vandals brandishing hammers broke into the grounds of the French soccer club Nice and smashed dressing rooms, storage areas, plumbing and electricity, and started a minor fire, causing an estimated $115,000 damage, officials said.
Officials said the vandals scrawled inscriptions on the walls of the building associated with rival club Paris-St. Germain and extreme right-wing groups.
Police said none of the intruders had been caught.
