BALTIMORE —
A World War II Congressional Medal of Honor winner who threw himself on two grenades has been charged with growing marijuana in a cornfield, authorities said Friday.
Jacklyn Lucas, 57, was being held on $5,000 bond in the Cecil County Detention Center. Lucas was arrested Wednesday when Maryland State Police raided the cornfield and found the plants, worth $90,000.
Lucas, at 17, was the youngest man to be awarded the medal.
