Reagan and South Africa
There is an old saying that goes something like this: “There are none so blind as those who will not see.” I think this describes Ronald Reagan when he declares that South Africa is now desegregated.
By making this statement he probably feels that now it is a fact. The same as he believes that a balanced-budget amendment to the Constitution will balance the budget.
