Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak swore in a new prime minister with trong financial expertise, in an apparent attempt to deal with the nation’s rising prices and sluggish growth. Ali Lutfi, 49, a former finance minister and economics professor, replaced Kamal Hassan Ali, who left office last week after 14 months in office.
