John Lusk Named Head of YWCA Hotel Fund Drive

John D. Lusk, chairman of the Irvine-based construction firm bearing his name, has been named general chairman of the Safety Net Campaign, which is responsible for raising $1 million to build the YWCA Hotel for Women in Santa Ana.
Sponsored by the Program for Women Foundation, the hotel will be built on the site of the South Orange County YWCA. Expected to be completed next June, the hotel will have 20 rooms and a total of 40 beds, intended for use by single, homeless Orange County women.
