A man described as a close family friend was booked on suspicion of the execution-style killings of jeweler Anthony Brice and his young son. Oakland Police Sgt. Jerry Medsker said Michael Hill, 30, “desperately needed money to pay a cocaine debt.” Hill was a frequent visitor to Brice’s jewelry shop, Medsker said. Brice and his 4-year-old son, Anthony Jr., were both found shot in the back of the head.
