Detectives searching for an 8-year-old Carson girl missing since she left school last Wednesday said they are following leads, but have no solid clue to her whereabouts. Sheriff’s deputies scoured a six-square-block neighborhood last Friday searching for Tiffanie Jean Odell. The girl’s parents are divorced and she lives in Carson, about 15 miles south of downtown Los Angeles, with her father and stepmother. The girl, who is 4-foot-4, 70 to 80 pounds with brown, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes, was wearing purple pants, a pink sweater and purple tennis shoes when she disappeared, deputies said.
