Gas Leak Routs 200: A gas leak at two office buildings in Santa Ana forced 200 workers to be evacuated for more than three hours Wednesday, but there were no injuries, the Fire Department reported. Spokesman Patrick McHugh said the leak was discovered at 11 a.m. by Southern California Gas Co. workers on a routine survey near the Heritage Medical Center at 1100 N. Tustin Ave. and a general office complex at 1200 N. Tustin Ave. Both two-story buildings were evacuated. Five fire equipment units were dispatched to the scene, along with a hazardous material team. Workers were allowed back into their offices after the leak was sealed at about 2:20 p.m., McHugh said.
