The 1985 Elan Awards, honoring the home-building industry, will be presented by the Sales & Marketing Council (an affiliate of the Building Industry Assn.) of Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Century Plaza Hotel.

The annual dinner is held to mark superior achievement in more than 30 building and marketing categories. Awards give recognition to builders, developers, sales personnel and others in the residential building industry who have made significant contributions during the preceding year.

A home builder or associate (ad agency, architect, interior designer etc.) may enter a project in any or all of the categories provided it is located in Los Angeles, Ventura or Santa Barbara County and was in active sales between July 1984 and July 1985.
