Rose Garden Honored

The Exposition Park rose garden--200 types of flowers on seven acres--has been honored by a certificate of excellence from All-America Rose Selections Inc.

The award, presented to the City Recreation and Parks Department, noted the garden’s “outstanding” maintenance program, which is directed by maintenance supervisor Martin Castille and senior gardener Ted Hata.
