Man Dies in Desert Cycling Accident

BORREGO SPRINGS — An El Cajon man was killed Friday when he flew off the three-wheel motorcycle he was riding and landed in a large pit, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The man, identified as Jeffrey Allen Jackson, 24, was pronounced dead at 6:45 p.m. at the scene near Peg Leg Road and South Salton Seaway. A San Diego County coroner’s spokesman said Jackson died of head injuries.
