The body of an 23-year-old man was found in a residential carport in the 2600 block of Chariton Street in West Los Angeles late Friday. Police said he had been shot to death. A search for two men reported fleeing the area after four shots were fired proved unsuccessful. The victim’s name was being withheld pending notification of his family.
