A Porsche belonging to a Los Angeles Police Department commander was stolen from him at gunpoint by two men who confronted him outside a Beverly Hills restaurant, police said. South Bureau Cmdr. Frank Piersol and his two adult daughters were getting out of the car at Lowry’s Westside Broiler at 116 N. La Cienega Blvd. when two men approached from opposite sides of the car, said Beverly Hills Officer K. Foley. One was armed with a handgun and ordered Piersol to start the car and step away, Foley said. The pair then drove off.
