Hancock Park Home to Be Design House

Share

A three-story English Tudor-style home in Hancock Park will be open as the “lSID International House for 1985” through Nov. 10, Tuesdays through Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday evenings, 5 to 9 p.m.

Twenty-one designers from Japan and Ireland as well as from New York, Chicago and Los Angeles redecorated the home and landscaped the gardens for the tour, which will benefit United Way. The tour is presented by United Way in cooperation with the International Society of Interior Designers.

The house, at 321 Muirfield Road, was one of the earliest homes begun in Hancock Park west of Rossmore Avenue. Built in 1922, it has been home to only two families.
