An Anaheim man visiting relatives in Fullerton was shot five times by an unidentified suspect as he was leaving the house early Sunday morning, Fullerton police reported.
Sgt. Joe Klein said the victim, Adam Peralta, 24, “was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center in critical condition, but he’s expected to live.”
Peralta was shot by a suspect who fled after firing five times as Peralta was leaving a relative’s residence in the 100 block of East Truslow Avenue about 5 a.m. Sunday. “He (Peralta) was outside, at the rear of the house, which backs up to railroad tracks, when he was shot,” Klein said.
The shots were believed fired from a handgun, Klein said. The sergeant said a description of the suspect was not immediately available.
