ANKARA, Turkey —
Newspaper advertisements offering a brothel for sale in the town of Isparta were explained Wednesday: The owner repented after visiting Mecca.
Gulistan Koru is asking $150,000 for the 14-room house with 12 girls, a restaurant and cafe thrown in.
She repented earlier this year after returning from a pilgrimage to Mecca, the third time she had made the trip to the holy site, Turkish newspapers said.
Licensed brothels are legal in Turkey.
