Sheer Peril Out There for Freeway Motorcyclists

Share

Joseph J. Honick’s letter (Sept. 21), “Motorcyclists Make Freeways Dangerous,” is such an absurd example of crippled logic, I can’t believe it even warranted space in your newspaper.

Anyone who uses the freeway system knows what the real trouble is, and it has nothing to do with the relatively few motorcyclists who brave what is definitely sheer peril out there. The problem, Mr. Honick, is that there are too many cars. If you, and several thousand of your fellow four-wheel freeway cloggers would discover the exhilaration, economy, convenience and space-saving attributes of motorcycle commuting, we’d all enjoy less traffic and lower blood pressure.
