Joint Venture to Build Huge Irvine Facility

The Irvine Co. and O’Donnell, Brigham & Partners will be involved in a joint venture project to build a 207,200-square-foot western regional headquarters in Irvine for the Collins Co. Ltd., a Pacific rim importer of goods from Taiwan.
The facility will be built on an 11.23-acre site on Alton Parkway, north of Toledo Way, in the Irvine Spectrum.
Bob Griffith, a senior sales executive with the Daum/Johnstown American Newport Beach office, represented all parties in the $11.6-million transaction. The architect is Himes, Peters, Costa Mesa, and the contractor will be Oltman’s Construction, Whittier.
