Soccer Roundup : Penner, Callejas Lead Golden West to Win, 2-0

Pat Penner and Javier Callejas each scored second-half goals Tuesday to lead the Golden West College soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Orange Coast in a South Coast Conference match played on the Pirates’ field at Costa Mesa.
Goalkeeper Sean Sipos, who had 10 saves, was credited with the shutout to help the Rustlers improve to 3-1 in conference and 5-6-3 overall. Golden West will play host to Saddleback next Tuesday night at 7.
In women’s action:
Chapman 4, UC Irvine 2 (overtime)--Shelly Tolton and Debbie Stewart each scored in overtime to lead the Panthers past the Anteaters at Chapman College.
