Skin Cancer Removed From Sen. Riegle’s Nose

WASHINGTON — Sen. Donald W. Riegle Jr. (D-Mich.) had a spot of skin cancer removed from the bridge of his nose in surgery at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, his office reported Wednesday.
The basal cell carcinoma, similar to the growth removed from President Reagan’s nose earlier this month, was removed Tuesday, and Riegle returned to Washington later that day.
