MANILA —
More than 3,000 poor farm workers from the country’s “rice bowl” marched into the capital Sunday to protest what they called the failure of President Ferdinand E. Marcos’ land reform program. Organizers said the group will march to the presidential palace today to mark the 13th anniversary of the program.
