First Interstate gained an Indiana franchisee.

The big Los Angeles-based bank holding company said it had signed on the National Bank of South Bend as a member of First Interstate’s national network of bank franchises. The Indiana bank has eight offices in the South Bend area and assets of $201 million. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
