A San Bruno man who reported his wife missing three months ago was arrested for investigation of murder after a body was found under a freshly laid concrete slab in his basement. San Bruno police Lt. James Rego said Armando Ginebra, 63, was being held without bail at the San Mateo County Jail, pending arraignment today. Police said Maria Lean Ginebra, 61, was reported missing on July 20 by her husband. “(The concrete slab) seemed to be somewhat out of place,” Rego said. “It was approximately three by six feet.” Rego said a jackhammer was used to break up the two-inch-thick slab. About one foot below it, the body was found in a wooden container with two sides, a top and no bottom. “We have reason to believe there was a domestic dispute on July 5 and that she was killed at approximately 3 p.m.,” Rego said. “She was probably bludgeoned, but that has not been established.”
