Pasadena : Pediatric Care Hospital Chosen
Huntington Memorial Hospital has been designated a Pediatric Critical Care Center, the only such facility in the San Gabriel Valley and one of seven in the county. The designation by the county Department of Emergency Medical Services is designed to strengthen the health care delivery system for critically ill children. The hospital recently opened a pediatric intensive care unit.
