Los Angeles based Union Bank named Harold H. Greene senior vice president and manager of its asset-based financing group, Pasadena. He will be responsible for the bank’s asset-based lending, installment lending and leasing lending throughout the United States.

In addition, he will manage the commercial finance activities conducted through the bank’s parent company.

Price Waterhouse, the professional services and accounting firm, announced that G. Thomas Willis was named partner-in-charge of its recently consolidated Los Angeles-area financial-services practice group. Additionally, Dennis D. Morrison was appointed a partner in the group.

William J. Rowe was named president and chief executive of Times Mirror National Marketing, a division that sells national advertising for Times Mirror newspapers. Rowe was serving as executive vice president and chief operating officer of the division.

Houlihan, Lokey, Howard & Zukin Inc., a Los Angeles-based estate and ESOP valuation consulting firm, named four new vice presidents: Richard S. Braun, research; Kenneth T. Friedman, product development; John G. Mavredakis, marketing, and Robert S. Socol, recruiting.

Felicia Vallera Mann has been named a vice president in Los Angeles-based First Interstate Bank of California’s comptroller’s department.

Triton Group Ltd., Los Angeles, said Scott A. Griswold has joined the diversified company as vice president and controller.

Neil Bersch has joined the William Morris Agency, Los Angeles, as senior vice president. The company said Bersch will work with the financial management group dealing in all financial matters for the company.

Long Beach-based Queen City Bank and its parent, QCB Bancorp, elected James O. Hillman a director. Hillman is administrator of the Harriman Jones Medical Clinics, Long Beach.

Maryon Lears has been named executive vice president and chief executive of three of Hartmarx Specialty Stores Inc.’s Los Angeles-area groups--Silverwoods, Hanny’s and Arthur Frank. Hartmarx is based in Chicago.

CALIFORNIA

Charles Pecchio has been named president and chief executive of Modern Technologies International Inc., Redwood City, which develops and markets UNIX-based business systems.

Trans-American Steamship Agency Inc., San Francisco, named John Neudecker vice president-liner services with responsibility for market planning and promotion of new agency business. Also, Neal Clark was appointed vice president and district manager for Southern California. The company maintains offices in Long Beach.

Richard Wollack has become the sole president of Consolidated Capital Equities Corp., Emeryville, following the resignation of Jay Kaplan as co-president.

Sunnyvale-based California Microwave Inc. appointed Ivan A. Cermak corporate executive vice president-telecommunications.

Gary Whitehouse has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Redwood City-based Advanced Polymer Systems.
