ON EDGE

I just read Katherine Mader’s attack on “The Jagged Edge” (“A Jagged Portrayal Sets Her on Edge,” Oct. 20). She says: “ ‘Jagged Edge’ is a good story. And that’s all it is.” How terrible! How offensive! How true!
Why don’t people like Mader lighten up? Why don’t they, to quote that renowned philosopher Joan Rivers, “grow up”?
I hope you’ll print this plea for a reduction in the condemnation of entertainment because it only entertains.
